Dutch online shops sell more

Dutch consumers have spend 19% more on online shopping in the first quarter of 2014. (GfK)

Together 4,4 billion euro was spend which is an increase by 0,6 billion compared to last year.
Above the age of 15, 78% did at least one purchase online, which is an increase by 4% compared to 2014. The fast majority (80%) of items bought are clothes and electronic devices, the other 20% are services like insurances and travel.
The largest growth was seen in Toys and tickets. The online spendings on toys have grown by 40%, where tickets for amusement parks and events have grown 33%
