The build of a new pier and terminal at Schiphol airport will take longer than expected. Its aim was 2018. The airport will decide on the plans after the summer. Complex adjustments are needed according to the spokesman. For example the amount of parking spaces need to grow, and the connection to the railway station need to be improved. Schiphol is planning to invest halve a Miljon euro’s. At the moment Schiphol is in the middle of a large overhaul for which one and a half billion euro’s are invested.
