The economic recovery in the Netherlands and Europe are reason to be possitive about the future for the industry. (ING). The Production in the industry has grown steadily since mid last year. Both foreign and domestic sales have grown. A growth of 2% in 2015 and 3% in 2016 is expected. Within the industry sector the growth isn’t equally divided. In 2015 Food (2%), machine construction (4%) and automotive (8%) carry the growth. Oil industry has a rough time due to postponed investment by the large oil companies.
