The market for paper books has turned over 105 million euro, which is an increase of 4,5% compaired to the same period last year. 8,2 million books were sold, which is 5,6% more than the first quarter of 2014 (research by Gfk).
Non-fiction informative books saw an increase of 15,2% in books sold. Books for children did well as well showing a growth of 9,1%. Fiction dropped 1% and non fiction leasure dropped 6,5%.
