The Netherlands have exported record amount of pork meat in 2015

In 2015 944 million kilo pork meat was exported. This is 6% more compared to 2014 (CBS), and worth over 1,7 billion euro. Although  more was exported, the worth of the export has fallen 4% due to lower prices. The volume of export to Asia doubled, while the export price was 15% lower  than two years ago. The Netherlands are the second largest supplier in Italy and the largest supplier in Greece.
