Young boys more financial independent than young women

Young men more often have a fulltime job. (CBS). 76% of young women and 80% of young man have a job. However 71% of the man and 37% of the young woman have a fulltime job. Due to this young man have a higher income. 21.000 euro compared to 17.000 euro. One of the reasons for the difference is that young women do better at school where young men drop out of school more often and earlier.
